I had just driven my Ruiner ( http://gta.wikia.com/Ruiner
), the GTA IV version of the Buffalo ( http://gta.wikia.com/Buffalo
), to the northern edge of the middle island.
I parked near that ramp that was used in some GTA IV mission to dump a Blista Compact into the sea.
The mouse pointer in this picture shows my parking spot:
I swam to that island to get the rocket-launcher that spawns there. That's my only source of rocket-launchers.
As I was getting the rocket-launcher I herd the sound of a truck driving backwards. You know, that beeping noise. I have never seen a truck driving backwards in GTA IV or the ballad of gay Tony
, so I took the rocket-launcher and looked around.
I was like "
" to see a garbage truck ( http://gta.wikia.com/Trashmaster
) off-roading on the grass, near the mouse pointer in the above picture.
The truck had probably gotten lost as a result of a car crash, but it drove to the road like surface at the most northern edge of that area and started driving west. I have never seen cars there, so why would there be a vehicle path there?
I swam back as fast as I could and accelerated after it.
The truck crashed into all sorts of obsticles in it's way. At one point I had to go punch the truck to make the driver back up a little to get past something.
Eventually the truch started to scratch the higher edge of the road that was keeping the truck from falling into the sea. Unfortunately that edge was broken at one place and the truck fell into the sea.
See the player position indicator in the first picture for the location.
If you look closely you can see the garbage-men walking away in the shallow water. They turned right, after I took the picture and disappeared under the edge where I was parked.
This might not seem like much, but the point is that why is there a vehicle path there if no-one ever drives there?
Could that be the site of a secret Epsilon mission?
