I took "Alien bar has the code get lava rail" and separated the anagram and put "get the lava rail" back into the anagram finder and got "a villager at."

A villager at alien bar has the code.

WOW! Thanks.

only thing interesting i found with The Truth's lines was:

Temple Charas --> A sacred hemp
(Temple Charas was what he was smoking on their way to SF)

Really? Because I have several more lines I am working on (thanks JAB for the text) for example, I believe Truth is giving us directions in his "stupid" lines.

Quote:
TRUTH: D'you know how many government satellites
are watching any citizen at any moment?

Notice how they use dyou instead of proper do you? I think the extra O was removed for a reason.

Words of interest found in this:
Legend
Twenty
Ghost Town
Lawmen
Tenth
City
Key
Maze

String found:
"At noon leave the ghost town and run west racing many lawmen"

I can see where your going but there are letters left over and when I try to enter a whole string the wordsmith site pukes about it being too long.

Here are the exact letters that remain = YKOIETAYCIIZENTMMT

Which returns nonsense like "Into My Tacky Itemize" or "I Meantime Cozy Kitty" or "It Mike City Maze Tony" This last one is kind of interesting, since Mike Toreno used the Ghost Town as a staging area in one of his missions.

Keep up the good work and I will see if some one has a free program that won't limit our searches.

What I do is put as much in as it will allow. When I see Ghost Town I cut out those letters and add more from the sentence. I also have to look carefully for words not in the dictionary and character names.

For example you won't find names like Mike Toreno or CJ in a dictionary list.

[sentence left out due to spam filter]

[attempted recovery of said sentence, trying to figure out what word the spam filter chokes on]
It would make more sense running East from the ghost town. If you go straight through the Cemetery sign, you go underneath the large arch and end up in the mass grave. Also, in that general direction lies Area 69, a good place to instantly get many lawmen on your tail.

Further South is the alien bar, but there are always different peds inside, only the guy at the pool tables is always there, and I assume also the employee.

I have a bug in my version of SA (because I got a conversion of it so it runs on Mac, I think) where the game messes up textures. The other day, when I was checking some places out, the Probe Inn had a Fleischberg sign up instead of its own name due to this glitch :P

In case you're wondering what word exactly the spam filter choked on, it was 'mass'. Presumably because it contains the word 'ass', you know, a donkey.

OT: Yes I have been having trouble with the spam filter too. The word p-u-r-c-h-a-s-e-d I found, I had to say I bought. If I am typing something very long I have to do a preview to check then go back looking for some word.

Back to the topic at hand, I wonder how much of the anagrams could be "pareidolia" a psychological effect from random stimulus being viewed as something important. Examples are seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon, and hearing hidden messages on records played in reverse. HEY! I wonder if anyone has played the audio in reverse yet? :o

But I guess if Alan and Su Xi can make a complete sentence like, "A villager at alien bar has the code." from the Truth stating, "I have an astral goat called 'Herbie'." Then it can't be pareidolia right?

All I am going to say at this point is;
  1. Not every line in the script is going to be an anagram. That is just impossible.
  2. Before we all start hanging out at the Lil Probe Inn, the villager could be any ped, but I am guessing a Native American?
  3. I really like this new approach to hunting, but be self aware of your own pareidolia.
  4. I am looking into the weird phrases uttered by Mike Toreno on his radio in the cut scene.

Mike Toreno has the map (alien bar) on his wall in the cabin. So he might have some pearls of wisdom to share with us.

In the beginning cut of Interdiction we see Mike sitting at the radio and hear this odd one sided conversation (obviously speaking in code);

Roger that, Big Monkey, I got a 13-6 fat vulture.
Need to acquire a drowning baby.
Over.
In 15 by the fat moon.
Break your heart.
Over and out.

CJ walks in and the rest of the mission plays out. That should give you guys something to look into?
