I still don't get it. It's not like you could have filled it over night with out even noticing. :? You could have just copyd all your important files to a bunch of CD's and delete some to make more room.

But whatever. One can never have too much hard drive.

When (/if) I'll get a new PC (by the end of this year), I'll give it 4 TB's. Two 2 TB ones. And I'll get them connected in such a way that the PC could use only 2 TB's. Everything will be automatically copyd to the other, so I won't loose anything if one brakes.

@ONE OF THEM;
When you asked modder I think of people who actually make them. No I am not a modder but I have downloaded and installed mods. However I keep my original 100% clean. I installed it to C:\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas CLEAN\ and I have another installed as C:\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas MODDED\ They only use about 5GB each so no big deal. Even on a small HD.

I would use mods, but I have v2.00 and the "downgrade patch" causes the game to start crashing after every 2 to 5 minutes.

But I have adjusted the handling of a few cars.

I also have 2.0, I used the above method of 2 seperate installs. Then I used this downgrade patch on my modded version directory. GTA San Andreas downgrade.zip this version seems to work for me and it installs quickly.

I am currently playing Jabhacksoul Tenpenny missions he wrote. I am up to the mission where Tenpenny is in the courthouse trying to escape the fires and people are shooting the cops. I suppose it is about the only good thing of having the PC version. I still like to play it on my friends Xbox. You know come to think of it I am going to put that on my wedding registry top of the list "Xbox 360". :lol:

You should have used a HD cloning program then formatted the 50 GB and installed it as a slave drive for a total of 250 GB of HD space. My brother's computer is running Linux Kubuntu and he has 20 GB HD with 10GB for the OS. Then he has a 500 GB slave drive for programs. Now what this means is his system drive remains clean. If he runs a windows program he uses WINE.

@Su Xi Mu: Modder is a generic term I consider myself Uber Modder. 8-) BTW if you are on that level you are almost done with the whole game!

Basically you burn the software to a CD or DVD so it can boot. To install the smaller HD as a slave there is a jumper near the power plug that you either remove or replace depending on the model. You can find the settings on the HD label. After that you just plug it in as any other HD and when Windows boots it should detect it and place it in as the next available drive.

Then you boot the CD and follow the instructions.

There are a few free apps to do this such as http://www.snapfiles.com/get/hdclonefree.html

Norton Ghost is the commercial HD Clone software.
